Lil Yacthy

Lil Yacthy is an artist as well as a rapper and singer. He is best known for his hit single "One Night". Miles Parks McCollum, his actual name is Miles Parks McCollum. He is also known by the nicknames Nautica Boat Boy and Lil Boat. His mixtapes, 'Summer Songs 2' and 'Lil boat are his first major smashes. However, this wasn't his first attempt as singer. His initial recognition came in August of 2015 with his two singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. Both of them were part of his debut EP (Extended play) entitled 'Summer Songs'. The current roster of his music labels includes 'Capital Records' and  QCM and  Motown Records. Yachty has worked with renowned rappers like 'D.R.A.M' and "Chance the Rapper" among many others. While attending school at Pebblebrook High School, Lil Yatchy, worked at McDonald's. This was where he made friends with other aspiring rappers and producers. Yachty took up the Alabama State University for graduation, but he dropped out after just two months. His love of music was evident at an early age. He was inspired by his father who was a musician and shared many types of music. He adopted the name "Yachty", and moved from Atlanta Georgia to New York in 2015 to pursue his dream of becoming a successful musician. In New York, he stayed with a pal and looked for ways to enter the music scene. While there the fashionista met street style stars online and gained an impressive following on Instagram. He formed a partnership with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) as well as his main collaborator, K$upreme. They're collectively referred to as "The Saling Team" and they worked in Lil ' Yachty's bedroom. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of his hit song 'Minnesota was the first time he had a major hit. Lil Yachty's breakthrough moment came with his track '1Night'. The video of the track was uploaded online and quickly became viral. The SoundCloud version of his song "One Night" became a viral meme, media attention was on the singer.
