Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 8th,
1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the
contracting company Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish and British Isles
origins. Stone began her stage career in her early years as a part of the
Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in the
production of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". Through
her teens, Stone participated in various other productions until she decided to
make acting her career. Officially, she created a PowerPoint presentation,
supported by Madonna's "Hollywood", and entitled "Project
Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her to leave school and
relocate to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted by the parents,
the couple moved to LA. She continued her education at home, while auditioning.
Her TV debut in 2004, when she was chosen to play the character of Laurie
Partridge on the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the Partridge Family.
This resulted in a variety of small TV parts in the years to follow. After a
string success acting roles, her character Olive in Easy A (2010) was her first
film role. In Phoenix, Arizona, she was a student at Xavier College
Preparatory. While she's referred to as redhead, her actual hair color is
blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she change her hair's color to suit Superbad
(2007). The actress loved it so much, she chose to keep it. At the age of 15,
she persuaded her parents she was able to move to Hollywood. She achieved this
by creating a PowerPoint presentation entitled Project Hollywood. When she was
11 years old she began her acting career in the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix,
AZ. There, she was a part of 16 stage productions as well as in the comedy
improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the Valley Youth Theatre.
